I WAS BORN for the Wolf Clan of the Tagish Kwan and raised with the aboriginal traditions and language of the Southern Tutchone in the Lake LeBarge region of the Yukon.
Information I share here is learned from my Elders and augmented with contemporary research. Some Southern Tutchone phrases are spelled phonetically; others are spelled using the English alphabet with accents and punctuation marks to try to indicate the sounds. I'm just learning how to do this.
